7. EGUNA

THE DAY TO SAY GOODBYE ARRIVED!

In the morning, all the students had to go to Lizeoa, so we had got up, did their suitcases and went up.

Nobody wanted to arrive up, but the bus was leaving at 10:45. Everybody in the bustop was crying because was very hard to know that maybe you would not see again that person that spent a whole week with you.

So, once we had said goodbye to each other, the bus left and the Basque students returned to class very sad.

IRITSI ZEN AGUR ESATEKO ORDUA!

Goizean, ikasle guztiak Lizeora igo behar ginen, beraz, esnatu, maletak egin eta gora igo ginen.

Igotzen ari zen inork ez zuen nahi iritsi, baina autobusak 10:45etan utziko zuen Lizeoa eta garaiz iritsi beharra zegoen. Hala ere, autobus geltokian pasatako hamabost minutuetan ikusi ziren negar malkoak, ez baikenekien gurekin aste bat pasa zuen hura berriro ikusiko ote genuen.

Orduan, elkar agurtu genuenean, autobusa joan egin zen eta ikasle euskaldunak klasera joan ginen oso triste.

The exchange was coming to its end and the cultural evening’s turn had arrived. An evening where Dutch students share their traditions, food, songs, dances…to both the Basque students and parents.

Before the cultural evening, the students had a kind of lunch with the “pintxos” that the cookers of Lizeoa prepared.

Finally at 18:00 p.m the cultural evening started. We had such a good time we didn’t have enough time to take any pictures!

Trukea bere amaierara iristen hasi zen eta honekin batera ekitaldi kulturala aurkezteko momentua iritsi zen. Arratsalde bat non ikasle holandarrek haien ohiturak, abestiak, dantzak etb bai guraso eta ikasle euskaldunekin konpartitzeko aukera duten.

Izan ere, ekitaldi kulturalaren aurretik, ikasleak bazkari moduko bat izan zuten Lizeoko sukaldariek prestaturiko pintxoekin.

Azkenik, arratsaldeko seietan eman genion hasera ekitaldi kulturalari. Hain ondo pasa genuen, ez genuela astirik izan argazki bat bera ere ateratzeko!

5. EGUNA

Yesterday in the morning, Dutch students had time to prepare the Cultural Evening and meanwhile the Basque students were in class.

Then, we went to Albaola Shipyards to have a guided tour about the traditional shipyards and San Juan ship, and the chance to do rowing in one of they boats. For that, we did two groups and while the first was listening the guided tour, the others were rowing. By the way, we want to do a special comment about the girl who was giving us the guided tour because she has a very clear English and we want to thank her.

Later on, we went all to Donostia to visit the Comb od the Winds and later, we went up to Igeldo by funicular train. The view from there was fantastic.

Finally, we had all evening free time in Donostia, so the Dutch students took advantage for buying some souvenirs for thir families.

Atzo goizean, ikasle hondarrek Ekitaldi Kulturala prestatzeko aukera eduki zuten, ikasle euskaldunak klasean zeuden bitartean.

Ondoren, Albaola Ontziolara joan ginen eta, bertan, bisita gidatua eta San Juan baleontzia ikusi, eta arraun egiteko aukera izan genuenberen txalupa batetan. Horretarako, bi taldetan banatu behar izan genuen, beraz, batzuk gidatutako bisita entzuten zuten bitartean, besteek arraun egin zuten. Bide batez, aipamen berezia egin nahi diogu bisita gidatua eskaintzen ari zitzaigun emakumeari, oso ingeles garbiaz hitz egin baitzigun eta guk hori eskertu genuen ulertzerako garaian.

Gero, Donostiruntz abiatu ginen autobusean eta, bertan, Haizearen Orrazia ezagutu genuen. Aurrerago, Igeldora igo ginen funijularrez; bertatik ikus zitezkeen bistak ikusgarriak ziren.

Azkenik, Donostian denbora libreaz gozatzeko aukera eduki genuen, eta ikasle holandar gehienek egoera aprobetxatu zuten familiei oroigarriak erosteko.

The bus came to pick us up at 10:30 a.m and we went to Bilbo; because of the rain we decided to Alhondiga building. There we saw a three floor’s library.

After having lunch we went to the Guggenheim Museum and the Basque students gave some explanations about certain sculptures and paintings.

Later on, we had only two hours of freetime because of the rain and we couldn’t go anywhere. Afterwards most of us returned yo Lezo and saw the match Allerru vs Pasaia. Finally we went to have dinner to Carmen restaurant in Lezo. We ended the dinner completely full!!

Goizeko 10:30tan autobusa etorri zen gure bila Bilbora abiatzeko; euria zela eta, Alhondiga izeneko eraikinera joatea erabaki genuen. Bertan, 3 pisuko liburutegi bat bisitatzeko aukeraz gozatu genuen.

Bazkaldu ostean Guggenheim Museora joan ginen; egoera aprobetxatuz, ikasle euskaldunek eskultura eta artelan jakin batzuei buruzko azalpenak eman zituzten.

Ondoren, pentsatuta geneukana baino denbora gutxiago izan genuen Bilboko alde zaharra ezagutzeko, ezin baikenuen ezer ez ikusi. Gero, gehiengoa Allerruk Pasaiaren aurka jolastatuko partidua ikustera gerturatu ginen. Azkenik Lezoko Carmen jatetxean afaldu genuen. Guztiz asetuta amaitu genuen afaria!!!
